November 2007 - At the end of this month Pebbles will be embarking on a new chapter in her life with Double L Acres in Decatur, IL.  We're excited for Vicki and her family as they prepare for the 2008 show season and we look forward to getting to as many shows as we can to be in the cheering section.  We're also very fortunate that Pebbles will be only a few hours from us that we might go visit and still get some nice, warm horsy kisses from her.

March 07 - Pebbles participated in her first AQHA show and did very well - placing first in both the Open Yearlings and the Amateur Mares classes, as well as receiving Reserve Grand Champion in both divisions.  At the following show she placed first in both Open & Amateur on Saturday and placed second in Open and first in Amateur on Sunday.  She has several other shows on her spring agenda and look forward to her continued success.

July 07 - Pebbles has attended two IBHA shows  so far and continues to place in the top two in every class.  At the ISBA Firecracker Circuit (IL) she earned Reserve Circuit Champion after three days of showing under two judges each day.

Summer/Fall 2007 - Pebbles continued to attend area IBHA shows and overall placed consistently in the top two and often pulls out a Grand and/or a Reserve Grand from the overall Mare Halter classes.  She showed  at the IBH Congress in September and ended Monday's class with a First & Second in Yearling Mares and also a Grand and a Reserve  over all mares in classes that day.  During this show she attained (and actually exceeded) the 15 points required to qualify her for her Mare Halter R.O.M. 

Pebbles' color is very unique and extremely deep, rich and classy.   She has an super sweet disposition with a very pretty, little head and a unique, attentive expression that catches your eye.   We are extremely proud of Pebbles - she is a very sharp looking yearling filly and we are very impressed with the cross of RD Rocka Fella and our mare Annie.  She hauls, bathes, trims, clips and has manners that you would expect of a quality animal.  She is sound with good bone structure, a clean topline and in excellent health.

Pebbles was in the finest care for the first few months of 2007 being fit for show by Tom Lueck of Lueck Show Horses and he has done a wonderful job with Pebbles.  Our deepest thanks to Tom & his wife for their commitment to helping Pebbles become a gorgeous young mare.   Watch for her in the 2007 Quarter Horse and IBHA (Buckskin) shows.
