Charlies Dun In Oil "Tank" Dun Gelding AQHA #4481275 Born April 14, 2004
(pictured at 6 months old)
May 2005 (1 yr old)
This is a large colt with a lot of muscle definition - big, wide chest, huge hip, gaskin and forearm, and a trim underline, plus a nice little head and ears balanced on a long thin neck . He has everything necessary to be an outstanding halter and working cow horse. He is 1 point away from his ROM in IBHA Dun Factor (unofficial). He was shown in 2005 and placed in Yearling Stallions and Yearling Longeline. "Tank" is registered "Permanent" IBHA. He currently stands at 14.2 at the hip. Look over his pedigree - his sire is a multiple IBHA World Champion and World Champion producer and his dam has earned a R.O.M. with over 20 IBHA Halter points.
Even as one of the "little guys" in the show ring due to his April foal date, he placed fifth in an open class of 13 weanlings at the New Windsor, IL Rodeo/Horse Show in August 2004. He also had three futurities and a couple more horse shows to attend before his 2004 show season ended. He placed and earned money in each of his weanling futurities. The following is the results of the 2004 show season.
Results of 2004: August New Windsor Rodeo Horse Show Open Weanling Halter 5th place (13) September Tri-State Futurity, Burlington, IA Open Weanling Stallion Halter 9th place (12) September IBHA Peoria, IL Dun Factor Futurity - 1 point 2nd place (7) September IBHA Peoria, IL Open Weanling Stallions 2nd & 3rd place (4) September IBHA Peoria, IL Weanling Stallions Futurity 3rd place (6) September MWHA Futurity, Cedar Rapids, IA Closed Weanling Stallions 8th place (15)
