Testimonials
If you are a current or past owner of one of our horses, please email me and share your experiences through this testimonial page.
About Sevn, Marveda writes:
I just wanted to send you a quick email to let you know how Sevn is doing. He is doing Fantastic! I take him to the round pen & longe him both ways at least every other day. I trimmed his ears the 3rd day he was here. He is also used to me throwing a blanket all over him. I love his look - very classy. And love how he moves. He's a quick learner. I have had so many people come over for a 'look-see'....they sure like what they see. Thanks Again.
About Peanut (Beau Te), Richard writes:
I truly love every minute I spend with her, whether I take her out to eat grass, or whether we are doing 'stuff'. I told you that she was a star, and I have no doubt that I was not mistaken!! I gave her the name Beau-Te for a reason and she is growing into her name and I have no doubt that she will turn a lot of heads before we are done. I recently changed stables where I board my horses and when I walked up the driveway the owner's husband remark was "Holy Shit, look at the size of her!!" I guess they've never seen a quarter horse built like her before. The stable owner absolutely loves Beau-Te and never misses a chance to show her off when people come into the barn. She is getting bigger (surprise) and I'm in the process of getting another saddle built - the one I used on her last year doesn't fit anymore. The saddle maker had me trace her withers and he told me that I would need a tree with draft bar angles! To give you an idea, the last rain sheet I bought her was a size 82 and she fills it out completely! I am enclosing a couple of pictures - she looks a little rough in her winter coat, but she is still as sweet as ever.
About Lusi & Smartie, Christina writes:
I have never been this happy to bring a horse home (let alone 2) after buying it from someone. These horses are truly what you advertised them to be, and better. They are both wonderful! Usually they have issues, or habits, or are spoiled and lack manners. But these ladies are wonderful. I will have no hesitation at all in sending clients your way....we think you, and your horses are wonderful!
They girls are wonderful! Everyone is well and actually they fit into the program so well it seems like we raised them. They slept well and are not off grain at all. Both are big drinkers and really like their cold fresh water.
….and Smartie, well she is the queen of the farm. I put her out and she plays so hard.....but she always has enough left to lope up to the gate when I go to get her. And she whinnies the whole way to me! What a filly! It's so funny to watch her pin her ears at the yearlings and takes a step charging them. They move away pretty fast, forgetting there is a 3 board fence between them and she couldn't get them if she tried! She has really set the standard for how we want our babies to act and the manners we want them to have….....because Smartie has really shown us we don't have to put up with that (a fight) to get an athletic horse. She may be tough (but so sweet to people….
We have had many people come over to see them, they have all been delighted. It's wonderful having wonderful horses.
They are both so fun and easy, you really did a wonderful job with them. The girls are getting so big. Smartie hardly looks like a baby anymore...she's got such a cool personality. And Lusi just loves playing with her sisters!
About Demi, Melodie writes:
Just wanted to let you know how well Demi is doing. I have been working with her the past month or so and have her recognizing voice commands, she is driving well and have just started getting on her. I have only walked her but she is turning and backing like a pro. She is doing very well and is very quiet. She is really a joy and tries so hard and really likes all the attention. It took her awhile to get used to the vacuum, but now she leans into it when you go down her back J
About Zip, Chris writes:
Zip is doing great! He’s really put on a lot of muscle and height. He is such a sweet boy and we had a great summer. He likes to go for rides and enjoys himself. He did great on the 2-day ride and was raring to go the next day - not at all too tired. When we ride with other people he always leads and does whatever I ask. He bucks from time to time when we canter, but not maliciously – but he’s getting better. We’re going to work on gaits this winter -- on speed, collection, etc. Thank you for doing such a great job with him. He is a great horse, with a wonderful personality.
About Dually, Kaydee writes:
Dually has been at the trainer’s for the past 6 weeks. Rodeo starts in March and we are so ready to see what he can do. I thought he did really well last year considering his age and experience, which was none, at least as far as barrels & poles go.
The trainer is really excited about him. He is learning quickly and likes to learn. Although he isn't crazy about exerting himself to run; he has a whole gear that they haven't reached yet. He has finally gotten past the point of wanting to let everyone get a good look at him and bask in his beauty! Dara really likes him and really misses his not being here. She keeps saying she can't wait to get him home so she can just ride him for the fun of it. I miss him too. He is so personable. I’ll keep you posted.
